In search of a vacation destinations that offers opportunities to take a family trip without spending an outrageous amount on gas and lodging? Then a visit to Warren County, Ohio is just what your family needs for Coasters, refreshing and COOL water slides, historic treasures, Sky Diving, Zipline Adventures, and much more for everyone to enjoy than you might have imagined.


The cost of gas is a consideration when traveling, and to solve this problem we search for a destination that would make “Great Getaway…Not Far Away,” and one of these destinations turns out to be Warren County, Ohio. With great rates on lodging, and special discounts on local attractions in the area we saved plenty, which left enough to enjoy our vacation without breaking our budget.

On our visit we discovered several money-saving offers and among the Warren County hotels offering special rates is the Great Wolf Lodge, which has:

As we found, the easy access from Interstates 71 and 75, Warren County is the perfect destination for “Great affordable family fun is just a few hours away,” where we can find plenty of attractions everyone will enjoy within a 30-mile radius. In the past we have limited our vacation to a single attraction like a theme park or recreation site. With so many options for family fun year-round in Warren County within a short distance we find ourselves returning to explore more of the area each year.


Today, there are few places where everyone in your family can experience fun, laughter, and excitement for a reasonable price. As Ohio’s Largest Playground, Warren County is a safe, enriching and fun getaway destination providing affordable trips catering to everyone’s needs in the entire family. In addition to the world-class entertainment, thrilling attractions and lodging Warren County also offers championship tennis and volleyball tournaments, along with competitive golf courses, which include driving ranges and putt-putts that are sure to please everyone.


Of course, there's always a shopping spree which my wife enjoys. Whether you're looking for a perfect gift or just browsing, Warren County has over 100 antique and specialty shops, in addition to their open air malls. Plus, there are 4 huge flea markets where you can find great deals. We enjoy browsing through the unique shops in the variety of quaint towns in Warren County on our trips. It is a relaxing trip just to walk along the shaded bricked sidewalks and visit unique shops that feature rustic furniture, quilting fabrics, antiques, trendy clothes, as well as home and gardening supplies.

Volunteer At The Coolest Ice Gathering

  The Tanana Valley Fairgrounds in Fairbanks will present the World Ice Art Championships this February until the end of March.
