Eclipse Anticipation Builds


Rick Calloway of the Indiana Astronomical Society hosted Photographing the Solar Eclipse at the Mooresville Public Library. The engaging program on the April 8th eclipse covered:


  • Photography equipment and filters 
  •  The stages of the eclipse to anticipate 
  •  Apps, photography techniques, and resources for the Eclipse
  •  What the expect before, during, and after the event 


Safety First For The Eclipse 


Safety of eyes was key among the key topics. Mr. Calloway explained the importance of using certified glasses to protect eyes. And, how helpful it is to have a separate filter for cameras that can be removed during totality of the Eclipse.

Volunteer At The Coolest Ice Gathering
