A Visit To The Mall of America
Traveling to Minnesota we found the Mall of America, which opened in August of 1992 and is located in Bloomington, Minn., just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. It is HUGE! Yes, we did venture in to see what it was all about. Inside there is a 3 story, 7 acre theme park with over 30 rides. All day tickets are available. It was so exciting we almost forgot about the shopping area that surrounds the park. But of course being true shoppers, we did explore the wonderful shops . . . so many shops. Who thought going to the mall could be educational? Mall of America has been described as a city within a city. Along with an extensive range of retail, restaurants and entertainment, there are many unique features to Mall of America likely to be found in any community.
