A Visit To The Mall of America

Image
Traveling to Minnesota we found the Mall of America, which opened in August of 1992 and is located in Bloomington, Minn., just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. It is HUGE! Yes, we did venture in to see what it was all about. Inside there is a 3 story, 7 acre theme park with over 30 rides. All day tickets are available. It was so exciting we almost forgot about the shopping area that surrounds the park. But of course being true shoppers, we did explore the wonderful shops . . . so many shops. Who thought going to the mall could be educational? Mall of America has been described as a city within a city. Along with an extensive range of retail, restaurants and entertainment, there are many unique features to Mall of America likely to be found in any community. Not only is the Mall of America an amazing place to shop, dine, and explore attractions, it also offers several educational benefits to the community. Styles vary from French Country, Hollywood Glam, plus Art Deco, and much more. Maddie Lisee has a huge inventory, with new items added frequently. It’s not unusual to catch owner, Heather Kramb, or one of her assistants, with a paint brush in-hand adding a new element to a collected piece of furniture. Prices range from easily affordable to high finery.  Also in Lebanon is Fella Bella , the perfect “grandma gotcha shop”. The elegant (as well as practical) clothes, gifts, and toys are irresistible. During the annual early December Christmas parade and festival, young models pose live in the storefront since 1944.
